I decided to have some fun this week and change up the usual pose. Please laugh accordingly, keeping in mind that I'm only sharing 2 of the photos taken.
Long-sleeve tee: LOFT
Cardigan: Old Navy
Skirt: LOFT
Shoes: Target
Necklace: Some department store in Atlanta (it's been a few years now)
I found today's Lenten reflection very interesting since I made my first confession yesterday afternoon. I wasn't planning on sharing anything about it, but maybe I will this week. Stay tuned.

I love this! Beautiful skirt.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLovely skirt! The color is great. And the new poses are, too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katrina Rose!
DeleteThe color of that skirt is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh and before I forget.
Go Duke! ;-)
AAAH--canNOT believe you would desecrate my blog with such offensive language!
DeleteI shall try to forgive. It is Sunday after all :-)
You look very nice and so does your pose. Nice skirt and very well combined!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen! I've had it awhile and had the hardest time finding tops that went well with it at first. Seems like it shouldn't be hard, but it really was. There's a lot of texture to the skirt so too much pattern or texture in a top was too much. Bright colors were too much. Stark white was too harsh. But I finally figured out a few options :-)
DeleteI love the color of that skirt, and the pearls and white buttons are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI had to get on here and see what buttons you were talking about. I see now--the light hit them like that :-) They aren't white, but now I see it how you saw it. Maybe something to tuck away for future clothing makeovers :-)
DeleteBeautiful skirt...love the color and the pearls...well every girl needs a set of pearls.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary! Actually, the necklace is 4 strands--2 of beads, one of fake pearls, and one of lace. I picked out the lace one and tucked it down the back of my top because for some reason it just didn't look right with the outfit. I loved the "mixed media" look of the necklace when I got it, but the lace strand often floats around instead of lying still (it's so light after all) and I've thought about removing it entirely. Can't decide for now though :-)
DeleteFirst confession-congratulations! I joined the church 12 years ago this Easter and my first confession was such a great experience. Maybe it's why you're glowing so much in that great outfit? The skirt is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly! The skirt has been mighty popular :-) So nice to hear from someone with such a great blog--I feel honored :-)
DeleteI know I'm echoing everyone else, but that skirt really is lovely, and it fits you perfectly! Love how you paired it with the long pearls!
