I will admit--I found myself struggling a lot with finding something to wear for St. Patrick's day. Which is actually really funny if you know anything about me because my favorite color is green so a lot of my belongings are green, but apparently I don't own many things that are church clothes and green. I finally decided on this dress that is actually a tank dress and great in the summer and just winterized it the way I have been doing a lot of things lately. There's a new pose and the old pose this week :-)
Cardigan: Old Navy
Dress: Target
Footless tights/leggings: unknown
Shoes: Target
Scarf: Target
Hidden Celtic cross necklace: Ireland!
Pearl earrings: Helzberg Diamonds
I think Target owes me some compensation for this post.

You did a great job layering to winterize the dress! Cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I realized living in New England that I could greatly increase the versatility of my wardrobe by using leggings and tights and cardigans and drastically reduce my reliance on dull, black pants :-)
DeleteLoooove the pattern mixing between the scarf and shoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shannon! I'm not always brave enough to mix patterns, but I've learned the test is whether or not I feel comfortable--and in my favorite shoes and scarf, I did!
DeleteI love shopping at Target. They have such cute things. I think your shoes are my favorite. I have a pair that are similar. Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, the wonderful Target--it's difficult for me to get out without something I didn't plan on buying. That scarf and those shoes are two of my favorite finds from there and I guess that dress might be another. I love a cool, comfy dress in the summer that's long enough to not worry about accidentally sitting or standing in a way that shows too much!
