Well, here it is folks--the first photos to be released of "Catholic" me.
Yep. There were lots of weird poses and I'm only sharing these few.
I also got some cool gifts from my in-laws and aunt & uncle who attended last night. By the end of the night my nightstand had several pieces of Catholic "flair". My husband asked me though if I just wanted to have the minimum number of pieces of flair? #officespacejokes
And for my final joke, before everyone left the church last night they were passing out Pope Francis cards for us to take home. So now I have a Pope Francis rookie card. Gonna be worth a lot someday. #baseballcardjokes
In all seriousness, many thanks to all of you who offered me encouragement and prayers during this time. I knew that literally dozens of people were thinking about me or praying for me yesterday and I really appreciated all of it.
Happy Easter everyone!

Dress: B. Smart (I think it came from JCPenney?)
Cardigan: Old Navy
Necklace: Probably Target
Silver hoop earrings: No clue (not a brand, I really don't know)
Scarf: Target
Shoes: Anne Klein
Marian bracelet: Alex & Ani
Oily forehead: Chrism oil
The bracelet is from a friend from my first RCIA class back in 2007. I had promised everyone I would invite them if I ever did convert. I sent her a Facebook message last week and since she lives in Boston now, she came to the Easter Vigil. It was so good to see her and it meant so much to me that she came. The bracelet is really pretty awesome since it is made with recycled materials in the US. Check out the website.
