It was a great week here at OTT. I participated in Jen's 7 posts in 7 days challenge that came at just the right time for me. It was great since I was trying to crank out posts I had been putting off while finishing school stuff. If you didn't get a chance to read all of this week's posts, check them out now. There's a review of Larry Crowne, My Name is Mary Sutter, and The Catholic Home plus details on our trip to Chicago and a new post on extravagant churches.
I'm not sure how this all works--if I do 7 posts in the 7 days but there are two on one day, does that count? This is post numero dos for today as I have a guest post up for Patty over at Tales of Me and the Husband. It's about the day I realized I'm like God. Interested now? I guess I still should post something for tomorrow to be sure I get one for every day.
My parents visited this week on their way up to visit family in NY. They stayed overnight on Wednesday, which was also my mother's birthday. She's already been here twice since the move, but it was my dad's first time so he got a tour of all the pretty houses.

I ended up being super thankful for the drop in temps because we went to the Bon Jovi concert last night and I had been worried about being hot and not knowing what to wear. I ended up being chilly because it started to rain towards the end of the concert and the dampness was a bit chilly. But it was a great concert and we had a fantastic time. It was actually my very first concert of that sort. All others had just been more like smaller bands at coffeehouses and places like that.

My family is eagerly anticipating the arrival of two new members. I have a cousin on each side of my family expecting and both were due on my mom's b-day, the 24th. She was disappointed neither of them were born :-)
Things will get quiet around here again for another week as we are leaving Sunday for the Napa Valley to spend a week with my husband's family, culminating in the nuptials of his oldest brother. We're looking forward to the family, the food, the weather, and the wine!
