What I Wore Sunday-vol. 33

Happy Sunday!  It was a good week here again and another good fetal echo report.  I really do intend to post more updates and info about little one and what's going on in our lives, but I'm making no promises about when that will happen.  Because clearly I have been having trouble with this whole blogging thing.

We wore red for Pentecost today--something I brought from my childhood church where we all wore tons of red and had red balloons and a "Happy Birthday Church" cake.  And we were Eucharistic ministers together for the first time today (this was only my third time).  This dress hasn't always been my Pentecost dress (I have a solid red dress that won out a few years in there, but it's jersey and has too many pills now to wear to church), but I have had it now for over 10 years!  And it is also the last time I'll be wearing this dress for some time too :-)

Dress: Goody's (does this store exist still?)
Shrug: The LOFT
Shoes: Target

And we tried to get Lilly to join in, but the photographer took too long and she just couldn't stay on those back legs any longer...

 And your side view...

And while this is What I Wore and not What I Ate, I still want to share this picture of our fantastic "Summer Harvest" homemade ice cream made with whatever berries we find to be on sale and in season, mini chocolate chips, and toasted oats (with butter and brown sugar--YUM!).  I think it kinda counts because I am most likely "wearing" this somewhere amidst the baby bump :-)

  1. Ah! Goody's! That store does exist still but it got bought out and I think lots of locations changed? I worked there in high school and early college! :) Glad to hear things are going well for you and the baby.
